DENVER (KDVR) — With the primary over, congressional candidates are now aiming for a win in November to represent Colorado in Washington — including the race for the state’s newest district.

On this week’s “ Colorado Point of View ,” Republican Gabe Evans discusses his bid to unseat U.S. Rep. Yadira Caraveo, a Democrat, in the 8th Congressional District. Evans, endorsed by former President Donald Trump, is vying for the seat that covers communities like Thornton, Greeley, Westminster, Commerce City and Brighton.

Meanwhile, far-leaning candidates lost big in the primary. Republican and Democrat analysts take a look at those losses and what they signal for voter attitudes in Colorado.
