Today sees the 11th race on the jam-packed 2024 Formula One calendar begin, as the Austrian Grand Prix at the home circuit of the vastly successful Red Bull racing team gets up and running from the aptly-named Red Bull Ring.

The second of seven races in a row to take place in Europe, this year's Austrian Grand Prix comes hot on the heels of a nail-biting encounter in Barcelona last weekend, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen edging Lando Norris of McLaren by little over two seconds to record his seventh win of the season.

Like the long straights and lightning-fast chicanes of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the Red Bull Ring has several flat-out sections and looks similar to an upside-down 'g' from above. It's a track which the current two-time World Constructors' Championship winners pride themselves on, with Verstappen expected to continue his winning run.

Just like in Canada the previous weekend though, Verstappen is being chased down hard by the British trio of Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, who have finished in the second, third and fourth positions in both races as they look to close down the Dutchman's 56-point lead at the top of the World Drivers' Championship.

The Sporting News remains your guide to all things F1 in 2024, and ahead of today's Austrian Grand Prix, we've got all the TV and live streaming details you'll need to keep pace with the action from Spielberg.

When is the next F1 race after the Austrian Grand Prix?

The Europe-based meetings over the summer of 2024 continue at speed following the conclusion of this weekend's race at the Red Bull Ring, with the British Grand Prix from Silverstone coming up next on Sunday, July 7 .

One of the oldest events on the entire calendar having first been held all the way back in 1926, the British GP is fast-approaching its centenary year and 2024's meeting will be the 79th overall. Each race has been held at Silverstone since 1987 and last year's result saw Verstappen pick up one of his 19 wins — with British duo Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton finishing second and third respectively.

Next weekend's action begins with the first free practice session on Friday, July 5, leading into qualifying and then raceday on Sunday, July 7. As is the case with most European races on the circuit this year, lights out will be at 3:00 p.m. local time (BST), as Norris, Hamilton and his teammate George Russell all look to record a home victory at Silverstone.
