    It’s one hour until the Fourth of July cookout, and you just realized you forgot the hot dog buns. It feels like a star-spangled emergency.

    Luckily, you can grab one of the best cash back credit cards and head to a major grocery store, as many of them will be open on Independence Day.

    Even better, many of these stores run big deals over the holiday weekend. Here are 15 of the country’s biggest grocery stores that are open on the Fourth of July and one that is not.

    1. Kroger
