Beautiful conditions through Monday before storms return Tuesday - Jacob

WHAT WE'RE TRACKING:

• Beautiful again today and Monday

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We'll see complete sunshine today with cooler but still comfortable temperatures peaking near 70 degrees. For tonight, patchy fog may develop as winds begin to turn out of the south. Temperatures overnight will be cool again with lows near 50.

EXTENDED FORECAST: After another nice day Monday, clouds will increase Monday night with showers and thunderstorms expected early Tuesday morning for most of our area. After some isolated showers and storms during the afternoon, a second round of widespread storms is expected Tuesday evening. While conditions don't look impressive now, we may make Tuesday an ALERT DAY for isolated chances for severe weather and heavy rainfall, especially in southwest Wisconsin. The shower and thunderstorm chance does continue through the 4th, but latest data does suggest a break possible during most firework shows.
