In 1987, As The World Turns’s Margo (Hillary B. Smith) cheated on her husband of five years, Tom (Scott Holmes, r.) with Hal (Benjamin Hendrickson), conceiving Adam (Philip Webster Smith IV, son of Hillary B. Smith). The one-night stand occurred while Tom was away for work in Washington, D.C., and a vulnerable Margo confided in Hal that she thought her marriage was over.
