    Train hits truck in Clark County Sunday morning

    CLARK COUNTY, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A road in Clark County was briefly shut down while first responders were on scene on a train crash.

    Law enforcement and medics were called out to a section of Old Mill Road just outside of Springfield on reports of a train colliding with a vehicle.

    Upon arrival, officials discovered a pick-up truck had reportedly lost control and gotten stuck on the tracks. A train struck the truck and dragged it approximately 2,400 feet.

    Crews on scene told 2 NEWS that no injuries were reported.

    Law enforcement and officials with the train company were on scene for several hours assessing the train and investigating.
