Weeks before their prom glitz, a video of the music business mogul assaulting his former girlfriend surfaced online after CNN obtained exclusive footage of the incident.

In the clip, Ventura exits a hotel room and walks to a bank of lifts. Combs follows Ventura down a hallway, holding a towel around his waist. He grabs the back of her neck and throws her to the ground. The video shows him still having his towel closed with one hand before turning to kick her.

A few days after the incident, Diddy apologized, describing his behavior as inexcusable.
