Rising UK artist Jordan Adetunji, who is behind the viral track “Kehlani,” has signed to 300 Entertainment in North America, with Warner Records UK as a global label partner.

The 24-year-old recently dropped the video for the song, which has been co-signed by the singer Kehlani herself, as she brought him out to perform the track at the release party for her album, Crash.

“Partnering with 300 was a decision on people and actions for me,” said Kevin Liles , CEO of 300 Entertainment, in a statement received by Blavity. “When meeting Kevin we talked a lot about the meaning of artist development and it felt a great home to continue our global journey!” Kevin Liles, CEO of 300 Entertainment shares “Jordan is a generational talent whose music transcends genres. 300 is built on recognizing an artist’s authentic self and empowering them to share their gifts with the world. We are proud to partner with Jordan’s management team and our incredible UK Warner Records family in this artistic journey.”

“Kehlani” is peaked at No. 3 on the Shazam Chart in the U.S. and has been in the Top 10 of the Spotify Viral Chart in multiple countries, including the U.S., where it is No. 1. It also debuted on Billboard’s Canadian Hot 100 this week.

On the track, Adetunji explained, “Making a song about Kehlani was a no brainer to me, her confidence and huge cultural impact is something I love! I love confidence. Especially when people do things that put themselves out there, doing things out the norm and showing huge ambition. When I made the track in my room I posted the snippet and when I seen the hype I recorded a new verse and dropped it everywhere within two days after! It made so much sense for me to get this song out asap.”

From Belfast, his music is described as a hybrid of “hip-hop, R&B, alternative and post-punk,” that also includes elements of Afrobeats, a nod to his Nigerian heritage.
