BRACEVILLE Twp., Ohio (WKBN) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a high speed chase that happened on the Ohio Turnpike Saturday afternoon.

According to OSHP, troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop near mile post 209 on the Turnpike after a Nissan Altima passed them at 91 MPH.

The driver, later identified as Ester Paragulla, 33, from New Jersey, failed to stop. Troopers say she reached speeds over 100 MPH.

Troopers were able to use a tire deflation device to stop the car after a roughly 30-mile-long chase. Once stopped, Paragulla along with the passenger were taken into custody.

Paragulla was booked into Portage County Jail.
