Two-car wreck slows traffic near Carolina Forest; leaves 2 hurt

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Sunday afternoon wreck along Highway 501 has slowed traffic near Carolina Forest.

Horry County Fire Rescue crews were sent to the area of Carolina Forest Boulevard just after 11:30 a.m. for calls of a two-vehicle crash.

Authorities said two people were taken to the hospital with injuries. Motorists are asked to avoid the area as officials work to clear the scene.
