Restaurants in Flagler County, FL, with the highest number of review violations in the past 30 days

As an individual who loves to dine out, I like peeking behind the kitchen doors to see how our local eateries are faring in their health inspections. Today, I will check out the latest on Flagler County's dining scene.

In the past month, this Florida county's restaurants have been bustling with more than just hungry diners. Health inspectors have been making rounds, ensuring your favorite spots are up to snuff.

The record shows that out of 31 restaurants visited, 15 passed with flying colors on the first go. The other 16? Well, they needed a little extra elbow grease.

Where needed to fix some issues?

Take Margarita Island Mexican Kitchen & Bar in Flagler Beach, for instance. They hit a bump with 20 violations on June 17, but don't worry, taco lovers! They rolled up their sleeves and turned things around in just two days, leaving only one minor issue. Now, that's what I call a comeback!

Los Dos Potrillos Mexican Restaurant in Bunnell faced a similar challenge. They started with 15 violations, but, like a perfectly flipped tortilla, this establishment managed to clean up its act completely by June 27.

Elsewhere, Taqueria La Calentana Dos Llc and Las Palmas also had their share of hiccups, but both restaurants put in the work to meet inspection standards. Seeing our local restaurants taking food safety seriously and making swift improvements is satisfying.
