When hunger strikes, few things sound better than a juicy burger. With so many options, you can get whatever kind of patties your heart desires. For one Golden Retriever named Huxley, even seeing a burger on TV was too appetizing to resist.

On June 27, 2024, a woman named Ursula ( @hugoandursula ) shared the funny moment Huxley spotted the tasty sandwiches and decided to go for a virtual chomp—no napkins necessary. Watch as the hilarity ensues!

In the 8-second clip captioned, "Snacking on his diet," curious Huxley stands on his hind legs to get a better reach to the tv mounted above. On the screen is the creation of a few decadent burgers stacked with delicious toppings like cheese and eggs. Of course Huxley can't help himself—he wants a taste!—so, he does just that, licking all parts of the screen where the burger is showing. Yum!

Of the more than 319k views and 23,000 likes, many reacted with empathy agreeing Huxley should get the burger shown to him for all his confusion.

"Aw buddy, I wish it was that easy," one person wrote. "He let his intrusive thoughts win," another joked. "Someone take him for a burger," another said. We're sure Huxley would love a taste of the real thing, but he's just as cute going after a tv burger, too!

    Can Dogs Eat Hamburgers?

If you've ever taken your hungry pup to a family barbecue or picnic you might be wondering if your dog can eat hamburgers . The American Kennel Club says yes, but with a few caveats.

First of all, they shouldn't have any burger with seasoning, spices, or anything added to the meat as the consequence can be something as minimal digestive upset or as bad as pancreatitis. They can, however, have a plain, unseasoned, cooked patty as part of a regularly-balanced diet. This includes beef, turkey, chicken, and pork patties, and they should be cut into bite-sized pieces to prevent choking and never feed them raw beef which can contain bacteria like salmonella and E. coli.

Other things to avoid include bones, fatty foods, spices and seasonings. You can also offer white meat of a cooked chicken breast as long as there aren't any bones as well as bite-sized, cooked beef if the fat is trimmed. And always make sure trash is secure to prevent them from digging right in and stealing a burger !

In the event there are no delectable burgers around, you can always turn on Food Network, where your hungry pups can at least pretend.
