Taylor Swift got stuck on a platform during the third and final night of her Dublin shows. The 34-year-old is in the Irish capital for the European leg of the Eras Tour which has thus far spanned five continents and fifteen countries.

The evening was going swimmingly with Irish phrases thrown into the mix, appearances from A-listers including Julia Roberts and Stevie Nicks , and surprise songs that delighted fans. That was until the icon got stranded onstage.

The Fortnight singer got a tad too high when belting out The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived from her most recent album The Tortured Poets Department . The platform malfunctioned and left her temporarily stranded mid-air.

The Aviva Stadium platform was meant to come down but it didn't. Swift was left searching for a way down from the tall height, forcing one of her dancers to step in and rescue the global mega star from being suspended.

A clip circulating on social media shows Swift sitting on the edge of the platform and eyeing the jump but in the end she doesn't need to make the leap. The dancer smoothly steps in to help her down.

Dodging a sprained ankle, Swift carried on with her final night in Dublin with no more mechanical malfunctions. The mega star ran through her musical catalogue from various eras including Folklore , her eighth studio album.

The talented musician told legions of fans that the cottage from the album "belongs in Ireland". "Let's be honest though," Swift told the Saturday crowd. "The Folklore cabin and Folklore in general belongs in Ireland . It just does."
