    SLED looking for Tennessee inmate last seen in the Upstate

    GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — State law enforcement is asking the public to be on the lookout for a man who escaped a Tennessee detention center nearly two weeks ago.

    According to South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Billy Reed Fletcher escaped the Carter County Detention Center on June 20.

    Fletcher is believed to be in South Carolina, after being spotted at a Walmart on Whitehorse Road in Greenville County on June 24.

    The 43-year-old is around 230 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.

    Anyone who sees Fletcher is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville immediately at (864) 23-CRIME, or submit a tip online .

    Officials encouraged the public to not approach Fletcher.
