SZA fans have been left very disappointed as the singer only managed to attract a small crowd at her Glastonbury headline set.

The 34-year-old was the headline performer at the iconic festival on Sunday night, claiming the slot following Dua Lipa's Friday night show and Coldplay's Saturday performance . However, fans noticed SZA's crowd seemed notably smaller than previous nights.

Many fans watching the show from home noticed there was a lot of room between fans as they gathered in front of the Pyramid Stage . Fans couldn't help but express their sadness for SZA on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One person posted: "The Pyramid Stage looks empty :(, thought was a strange one having SZA on the Sunday especially, hope she puts on the performance of the festival! #Glastonbury." Another added: "oh dear.... not a very big showing for Sza. #Glastonbury."

A third fan questioned: "Is it the @bbcglasto camera angles I'm seeing or is the #PyramidStage pretty quiet @glastonbury." While another said: "I don't know @sza but sad to see it so quiet on the last day."

A fifth fan chimed: "It's a quite big crowd but it's not a Sunday night headline crowd is it? #Glastonbury." Meanwhile, another fan suggested there should have been a reshuffle of performers, posting: "SZA, Dua Lipa, Coldplay. That should've been the order of the headliners this year in my opinion but #Glastonbury #Glastonbury2024."

Adding to the commentary, a Glastonbury fan remarked: "I am a massive Glastonbury geek, looking at the webcam and BBC pictures the crowd awaiting Sza looks very small by headliner standards.." Another person proposed a different stage for the artist: "SZA was probably better suited to The Other Stage honestly but fair play for getting a Pyramid Stage headliner slot."

Someone else said: "Glastonbury have messed up big time here. Barely anyone here #SZA." Contrastingly, SZA attracted a much larger audience during her Saturday night performance at BST Hyde Park in London.

According to BST insiders, she drew an impressive 50,000 fans, which seems to overshadow the turnout for her Glastonbury appearance. When SZA was announced as one of the headline acts for Glastonbury, many were left scratching their heads, unsure if she was a singer, a DJ, or even a band.

SZA, pronounced 'scissor' - real name Solana Imani Rowe - is an American R&B singer-songwriter with two studio albums, three EPs, one live album, and 44 singles (11 as a featured artist) under her belt. She has quickly risen to become one of the most listened-to artists worldwide, earning her a top spot on the line-up alongside Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and Shania Twain.
