GloRilla has been white hot in 2024, putting her renewed musical energy on full display in her BET Awards Performance.

She descended from the sky in parachute and landed behind a fence while her backup dancers strutted to “Yeah Glo!” They sported white crop tops and denim shorts while she wore a green top and Black pants, all performing in front of a set showing an alleyway.

They transitioned to her latest single “ TGIF ,” which had a fitting background of orange embers. Her dancers tore her pants off, revealing Black shorts and they moved to a set showing the front of a house while more dancers wearing green hoodies with “Memphis” across their chests joined them. Finally, she performed her track “ Wanna Be ” which yielded a surprise appearance by Megan Thee Stallion , who performed earlier in the night. She burst through the set’s door and delivered her verse before she and the Memphis artists start twerking and cheering each other on.

GloRilla has taken over 2024 with her three big singles “Yeah Glo!,” “Wanna Be” and “TGIF.” Cardi B also joined her and Megan Thee Stallion on the “Wanna Be” remix at the end of May. In April, Glo released her latest mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang , featuring Moneybagg Yo, Boston Richey, Finesse2Tymes, and Kevo Muney. The 24-year-old rapper also appeared on “Accent” from Megan Thee Stallion’s recent self-titled album .
