SZA has addressed concern after fans noticed a smaller-than-expected crowd for her Glastonbury headline set .

The star-studded event at Somerset's Worthy Farm welcomed 210,000 attendees over five days, with anticipation high for the 34-year-old singer's performance . Sadly, many of SZA's fans felt the turnout at her main-stage performance was underwhelming, with noticeable gaps in the audience visible to TV viewers.

Some fans even slammed the festival organizers and said they "messed up" with SZA's show. Taking to Instagram , SZA openly discussed her on-stage experience and revealed her struggle with anxiety which left her shaking during the set.

Post-performance, she candidly expressed how she felt to her fans, saying: "I was legit shaking lmao but we made it." The singer was also deeply moved by the performance.

She addressed the audience directly before concluding her act, stating: "Glastonbury, I was so nervous to be here with you today. I'm so grateful, you have my deepest love and my deepest respect. I love you always, god bless you. Get home safely, my name is SZA, good night."

However, before SZA could even start her performance, she encountered a few hiccups. She started her set 15 minutes late before making her grand entrance on an elevated podium to perform the intro to her hit song PSA.

She performed some of her biggest hits including F2F, I Hate U and Kiss Me More, her collaboration with Doja Cat. As her performance was being aired by the BBC, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their concerns about the crowd.

One person posted: "The Pyramid Stage looks empty :(, thought was a strange one having SZA on the Sunday especially, hope she puts on the performance of the festival! #Glastonbury." Another added: "oh dear.... not a very big showing for Sza. #Glastonbury."

A third fan questioned: "Is it the @bbcglasto camera angles I'm seeing or is the #PyramidStage pretty quiet @glastonbury." While another said: "I don't know @sza but sad to see it so quiet on the last day."

A fifth fan chimed: "It's a quite big crowd but it's not a Sunday night headline crowd is it? #Glastonbury." Meanwhile, another fan suggested there should have been a reshuffle of performers, posting: "SZA, Dua Lipa, Coldplay. That should've been the order of the headliners this year in my opinion but #Glastonbury #Glastonbury2024."

Someone else said: "Glastonbury have messed up big time here. Barely anyone here #SZA." Contrastingly, SZA attracted a much larger audience during her Saturday night performance at BST Hyde Park in London.
