It doesn't take long to fall in love with a puppy — if I had to guess, for me, it happens in less than a second! They're just so cute and clumsy that it's hard not to want to cuddle them and squeeze them forever, from their sweet little faces and fluffy fur and...  yeah, this list could go on for days. Puppies also have some seriously adorable little paws, too. They're so small, even if one day, they'll end up being giant paws on a giant dog!

So if you have a puppy right now, enjoy those tiny feet as much as you can,  like the dog mom in this TikTok video is doing. She can't help but gush over her pup's precious "toe beans," or the pads of her feet. Too cute!

On Thursday, June 27, @welcome.to.the.zoo shared this crazy cute video of her puppy, a Golden Retriever named Piddles. While we know that she's going to be pretty big someday, for now, she's tiny — and it's no wonder her mom is obsessing over her paws!

In the video, Piddles is cuddled in her mama's arms, showing off all the fluffy puppy cuteness as she gives her viewers a close up look at her feet. "Look at the little toe beans!" she says.

She's got a point, because those toe beans are really perfect. Commenters seem to agree with me, with one person writing, "Not to be dramatic or anything but I would die for Piddles."

I have a feeling they're not alone in that! Piddles couldn't possibly be easier to fall in love with. She deserves everything good in the world!

    What Are Toe Beans?

In case you're unfamiliar with the term, "toe beans" is a term that has been adopted for the pads of dogs' feet. It was originally used for cats, but it does apply to dogs, too.

This part of the body actually does have a real name: Digital pads . As Dogster explains, this part of the dog's foot is made of elastic fibers and adipose tissue that's covered with thick skin — in fact, it's the thickest skin you'll find anywhere on a dog's body.

Dogs have four toe beans on each paw, along with the larger pad, which are the metacarpal pads (front paws) and metatarsal pads (back paws). These pads are used for keeping dogs balanced and steady as they walk and run around, no matter what terrain they happen to be navigating.

And when it comes to toe beans, Piddles has a pretty good set. She should be very proud!
