Orange cats are decidedly too much. No matter what the circumstances are, you can usually find an orange cat breaking the rules, and there's usually nothing wrong with that. Honestly, Orange Cat Behavior is something a lot of people actually seek out.

That doesn't mean they can't push limits, and when they do, they might even be able to tell. Just look at this orange cat from Sunday, June 30th, when one kitty seemed to know he'd taken things a little over the line:

Macaroni the Cat may do parkour off his sister, but at least he knows when to apologize. Rumor has it they're all good now!

Macaroni's sweet Golden Retriever sister, Luna, is no stranger to his antics. The account may be named after Macaroni, but it's pretty much dedicated to the both of them. Luckily for him, Golden Retrievers are one of few animals on Earth who know how to match orange cat energies - that's probably why their mom has one. They're best friends!

Other videos on their page have showed off Macaroni's "anger issues," and they usually come out when Luna is getting affection. His zoomies (which included jumping onto Luna) don't seem to be aggressive at all, but it does look like using his sister as a launch pad snapped him right out of it. He really does seem embarrassed; he even goes over to her at the end! Once again, luck is on his side: of course she forgives him. She probably does weird things like that, too!

    Can Cats Feel Embarrassed?

Pet parents often believe that most animals, especially cats and dogs, can feel embarrassment, especially when it comes to having accidents in the house. When you point out the accident/scold them, they do look somewhat embarrassed or ashamed!

Research surrounding cats' emotions is scarce. While we know they can feel some form of happiness and sadness, more nuanced emotions haven't been explored as much. We know that cats do show signs consistent with embarrassment, like walking away while avoiding eye contact, but those could also just be signs of submission.

If there's one thing cats definitely do know, it's the rules. They know they're not supposed to be in certain places, potty outside the litter box, or barrel over their sisters for no reason. So, when they do things that they know are definitely against the rules and they know you saw them, they'll make themselves look as innocent as possible to avoid trouble. How do you avoid trouble? Acting like you're just a tiny little cat!

Maybe Macaroni was embarrassed, but maybe he wasn't. Whatever the case may be, he'll almost certainly do it again, and of course, Luna will forgive him!
