TEAMWORK: Levi’s on Thursday unveiled its inaugural collaboration with Formula One heavyweight McLaren Racing with a capsule collection that champions heritage and innovation.

The lineup — to hit stores worldwide on Wednesday coinciding with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit — includes a racing jacket, racing suit, racing gloves, trucker, jeans, constructors T-shirt and a racing bandana.

The brand said the racing jacket is inspired by the spirit of McLaren Racing’s vintage era, and features a chain stitch embroidery logo on the back and twill taping at the cuff and hem.

The racing suit has a slight drop crotch and a roomy fit with a straight leg. It comes with vintage-inspired patches, a crackle print down the right leg and a veg tan leather zipper that pulls down at the front center.

For the capsule, the iconic Levi’s 501 jeans saw the left back pocket redesigned with a shadow pocket featuring a crackle print as well as a red tape welt zipper pocket at the top, a first for the brand. At the same time, the jeans feature vintage-inspired patches and a red co-branded back patch.

McLaren has been active in the space of fashion with several collaborations in recent years. In 2024 alone, it revealed a multiyear partnership with the British high-street fashion brand Reiss, and a capsule drop including T-shirts, hoodies and jackets with Abercrombie & Fitch.

Last year, for McLaren’s 60th anniversary, it teamed with Jack Daniel’s and Bowers & Wilkins for a series of collaborations .
