    Two Massachusetts men announced in 2024 gymnastics Olympic team

    BOSTON (WWLP) – Team USA has announced their gymnastics team roster for the Paris 2024 Olympics, which includes two people from Massachusetts.

    Who is joining Simone Biles on the U.S. women’s gymnastics team in Paris 2024?

    The full roster was announced this weekend following the end of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team trials. The team will be represented by five gymnasts and two traveling replacement athletes:

    • Asher Hong — Tomball, Texas/Stanford University
    • Paul Juda — Deerfield, Ill./University of Michigan
    • Brody Malone — Aragon, Ga. /EVO Gymnastics
    • Stephen Nedoroscik — Worcester, Mass./EVO Gymnastics
    • Frederick Richard — Stoughton, Mass./University of Michigan
    • Shane Wiskus — Spring Park, Minn./EVO Gymnastics
    • Khoi Young — Bowie, Md./Stanford University

    Nedoroscik from Worcester is a 2021 pommel horse world champion and Richard from Stoughton is a 2023 World all-around and team bronze medalist. This will be their first time competing in the Olympics.

    During the trials over the weekend, Richard led the all-around and also claimed the top spot on the high bar, second on parallel bars and third on floor exercise. Nedoroscik was second on the pommel horse.

    Wiskus and Young will be the traveling replacement athletes for the team.
