Rick Ross and Drake’s issues have escalated to physical violence , even though Drake had nothing to do with the attack.

On Sunday (June 30), the Miami rapper was booked to perform at Vancouver’s Ignite Music Festival, where he decided to play Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Rozay exited the stage with the scathing diss track still playing, prompting a gaggle of goons to confront the artist. The men pressed Ross and his team as tensions began to flare .

Video footage shows a heated exchange between the MMG boss before one of the men snuffed the rapper, which turned the scuffle into a brawl. Members of Ross’ squad could be seen getting pushed around and falling to the ground as the Canadian goons continued to harass and mock them for their song choice. At one point, the clip shows an MMG affiliate seemingly knocked out unconscious on the festival grounds after seemingly taking a hit from the chaotic Canucks.

VIBE has reached out to Ross’ reps for a comment, but has yet to receive a response.

Ross jumped in the middle of Drizzy and K. Dot’s feud to air his grievances with the Toronto-born artist. While it seemed random at the time, Ross would later reveal that Drake sent French Montana a cease & desist for a record, which has been widely speculated as the unreleased song, “Splash Brothers.” Their track involved all three men and found Drizzy taking a shot at Kanye West, alluding to the idea that he had sexual relations with Kim Kardashian.

The song was set for a March 2024 release, but allegedly, Drake put a legal stop to it with a cease & desist. Rick Ross rapped about it on his record, “Champagne Moments,” confirming the rumor that Drake legally stopped the record with his verse from seeing the light of day.

“I unfollowed you, ni**a, ’cause you sent the motherfkin’ cease-and-desist to French Montana, ni**a. You sent the police, ni**a, hated on my dog project. That wasn’t the same white boy that I seen, ni**a, when we were makin’ them early records, ni**a,” Ross taunted him on the song’s outro.
