    PHOTOS: Flames engulf haystacks in Weber County

    WEBER COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Two large haystacks caught fire in Weber County Sunday afternoon, according to Weber Fire District .

    At around 2:45 p.m. on June 30, fire crews responded to a grass fire that was threatening several structures in West Weber County.

    Firefighters arrived on scene to find “heavy smoke and flames on two large haystacks” in a field, officials said. The flames were reportedly spreading quickly and threatening three nearby structures.

    Fire crews were able to keep the fire contained and protect the structures, officials said.

    Crews from Weber Fire, North View Fire, Ogden Fire, Roy Fire, Riverdale Fire, Hill Air Force Base, Little Mountain Fire, South Ogden Fire, and the Weber County Sheriff’s Office responded to this incident.

    There were no reported injuries.
