Shania Twain is facing some heat once again. The country music legend is still touring and sharing her music with the masses, and good for her for doing so. Unfortunately though, it seems the 90's country music artist raises eyebrows on and off the stage more than she impresses fans with her music in the modern day. In an interview earlier this year, Twain opened up on her ritual of
standing naked in front of her mirror in an effort to cope with aging. And during the opening night of a recent residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Shania made a lot of fans in attendance uncomfortable when she inexplicably told the story of losing her virginity at age 15 while living in a shelter. But no story is as strange, and frankly sad, then last year, when fans were leaving in droves right in the middle of one of Shania Twain's concerts. Videos of people giving up on the country singer and leaving early were all over the internet, and it was honestly a very somber moment to see play out. Fast forward to this past weekend, as a similar disappointment took place at the 2024 Glastonbury Music Festival in England. Shania Twain was making her Glastonbury debut, performing in the coveted "Legends Slot" of the festival. There's no doubt that the 58-year-old is a legend of music, but there was some doubt with her performance and sound quality when she took stage. In Twain's defense, not everyone had bad things to say about her set. Some fans raved about the singer's energy and stage presence, especially when the massive crowd helped her sing "Man! I Feel Like A Woman." Shania even shared a very grateful post about it: https://twitter.com/ShaniaTwain/status/1807785104850227377 Maybe that was the best song of the night because everyone else was singing it? It might not have been all on Shania. Reviews are saying that the sound mixing and technical issues were to blame, which affected Twain's timing with her band. Apparently, the show got off to a very rough start, and Shania could be seen messing with her earpieces for much of the set. Fans all around the world were not shy calling out Shania, saying she sounded "robotic" and was clearly "out of sync" with the rest of her band, especially early on in the show:
