I don't know about you, but one of the messiest sections of my home is my craft area . I have about a dozen cardboard boxes filled to the brim with sewing supplies, hot glue guns, embroidery thread, fabric, etc. The list just goes on! Finding cheap and easy ways to not only store but display these items can be a difficult task. Dollar Tree however makes this task so much easier.
This creator wanted to find an easy way to store her hot glue gun supplies instead of just tossing it into a drawer. In order to make it easily accessible while still staying within a budget, she ran to the Dollar Tree and found the perfect solution. Watch below for her genius idea!
TikTok creator Belinda ( @belindasdiys ) is all about finding the best dollar store crafts to make your home more efficient while also saving money. So when it comes to home storage, obviously she has a ton of ideas. And don't worry if you're new to the DIY crafting game. Anyone can make these!
Belinda has the perfect project for anyone trying to clean up their craft areas and make them a lot more accessible. All you need are a few items from the Dollar Tree to get started!
Here's what she grabbed from her local store.
Two Dollar Tree Items You Need for Ultimate Craft Bin
She only needed two supplies: a makeup vanity organizer and a small acrylic note board. And of course, like any good craft, some hot glue!
She added hot glue to the bottom of her organizer and adhered it to the note board to give it much more stability. Now she can store her glue gun as well as her glue sticks without worrying that it might tip over or spill everywhere while she's working! No one wants a hot glue gun falling onto the floor.
While she uses this new container to store her hot glue supplies, you can utilize this same design for just about any type of small storage you need. Whether you need a spot for your embroidery thread collection or a place for your top-heavy scissors, this trick is gold.
