The Royal Family of Jordan Has Baby Fever & Pregnant Princess Rajwa Has Been Absolutely Glowing

The royal family of Jordan has baby fever — and who can blame them? Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa are expecting their first child. It’s not only their first child, but King Abdullah and Queen Rania’s first grandchild, and the possible future heir to the throne (should it be a boy). So you know that baby is going to be spoiled beyond measure.
In honor of her son’s birthday, Queen Rania posted a photo of him and his pregnant wife on Instagram. “Happy birthday my dearest Hussein,” the Queen captioned her post . “Can’t wait to see you and Rajwa as parents!” In the photo, the happy couple is outside. Princess Rajwa sports a light yellow gown, simple jewel earrings, and windswept hair. Plus, she has the same undeniable glow we’ve seen throughout her pregnancy.
Last month, the Prince posted a photo of him and his wife in a more formal setting. “Rajwa and I before the national event marking the #SilverJubilee of His Majesty,” he captioned the photo . In it, Princess Rajwa stuns in a red gown with colorful embroidery. Her makeup is simple (you don’t need much when you have that pregnancy glow!), and her hair is pulled back except for a few stray curls framing her face.
The Royal Hashemite Court announced in early April that Crown Prince Hussein and his wife were expecting their first child. In an interview with Al Arabiya the following month, the heir to the throne said his mom has been preparing for the royal baby, per People .
“My mother has already started shopping for baby stuff weeks ago,” he said.
“Everything will change with the kids, for sure,” he continued. “I don’t know what to expect, but thank God we are excited and the family is excited too.” And yes, the little prince or princess will certainly change things for the couple who married in June of 2023, but in the best of ways.
