Indiana officials are investigating several cases of illnesses associating with eating Diamond Shruumz sweets, a product line of edibles that promises to deliver energy boosts, euphoria and focus through microdosing.

The company is recalling its products after dozens of people have been sickened across the country with symptoms such as seizures, loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness and abnormal heart rates.

As of last Wednesday, regulators tracked 39 cases of illnesses across 20 states and 23 hospitalizations, according to the Indiana Department of Health. Three of those cases were in Indiana.

U.S. Food and Drug administration are urging people to avoid buying, eating or selling Diamond Shruumz chocolate bars, cones and gummies. These products can be found at gas stations, smokes shops and online.

State health officials are asking those who have become ill after eating the product to call the Indiana Poison Center at 1-800-222-1222.
