Starting off strong, Emma says to grab a bunch of thin metal shower curtain ring s and slip them over the hook part of your clothes hanger. Slip another clothes hanger through the hanging end of the ring and now you can easily condense longer dresses or jackets. This trick is also great for just hanging up two shirts, pants, skirts, or whatever else you have in one space. It's a super simple way to double up your hanging space without spending a fortune on fancy organizers.

Building off the earlier hack, you can easily slide curtain rings onto the long part of the clothes hanger and now you have an easy place to snap your hats in place. This displays them nicely and makes them easy to find instead of tossed into a corner. Say goodbye to the days of frantically searching for that one hat you know you own but can't seem to find.

Next up, we've all seen those fabric bins at our local dollar store, but how do you use them for clothing organization? Emma suggests that, first of all, grab that cardboard spacer that you'd normally put on the bottom. Instead, put it into the middle, vertically, of the bin. Now you have separate compartments for your clothes, such as socks, undies, etc. This transforms a simple bin into a multi-compartment organizer and it's perfect for keeping smaller items from turning into a tangled mess.

Finally, if you still need a bit more space, Dollar Tree has some good, and cheap, jumbo storage bags. Even though they don't really have any sort of structure to them, simply being bags after all, they are still perfect for storing all your off-season gear.

Another idea is to collect old shoe boxes or the bins from the earlier hack and use that to organize the bag. Otherwise, just fill them up with folded clothes and slide them under your bed to use up otherwise wasted space . It's amazing how much you can fit in these bags, and they keep everything neatly tucked away until you need it. Plus, the under-bed storage means you’re utilizing space that would otherwise be left empty.
