Mystery Celebrity Fled Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hamptons Home After Suffering Ozempic Side Effect

The first mystery of summer is finding out which celebrity had to vacate Gwyneth Paltrow 's home in the Hamptons after allegedly experiencing a smelly side effect of taking Ozempic .

“Ozempic-induced diarrhea is becoming a very hot topic of conversation between hosts there — because so many of their guests are using it,” a blind item claimed in an unknown celebrity gossip magazine reported by Daily Mail on June 28. “So expect laundrettes to be fully booked from July 4.”

According to GoodRX , one of the effects of taking the medication intended for diabetics is diarrhea from the active ingredient semaglutide.

Gwyneth, 51, has yet to publicly respond to the anonymous claim.

Ozempic has won the popularity contest among a handful of Hollywood stars including Rebel Wilson , The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania and Sharon Osbourne .

“The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever,” Sharon, 71, said during a May 2023 appearance on U.K.’s The Talk. “Like everything, there’s always no quick recipe.”

Two months later, Dolores, 53, admitted to taking Ozempic to help her lose 20 pounds.

“Right now, I'm 137. I was 157 when I started,” the reality star told The U.S. Sun at the time. “It doesn't happen overnight. It doesn't come off easy.”

She later added, "I stopped taking [Ozempic] because it was expensive and everything. But being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle is cheap — it's free! I work out regularly. There is no easy fix for weight loss and I have to watch what I eat."

Rebel, 44, for her part, explained why she turned to Ozempic during her 80-pound weight loss journey that she debuted in 2020. In March, the Pitch Perfect singer shared that she used the drug to maintain her weight loss but she stopped using it.

“Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets. So, I think those drugs can be good,” she told The Sunday Times .

In June, TLC star June “Mama June” Shannon exclusively told In Touch that she had “been on weight loss medication” amid her transformation.

“I was first on Semaglutide, which is like Ozempic. And now I’m on Triglycerides for the last three weeks,” she said.

Mama June’s daughters, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson , Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird and Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon , also revealed to In Touch if they’ve ever taken Ozempic.

“I don’t have any bad thoughts. I know there’s some people who had really, really bad experiences with it, but there’s also that side of people who haven’t had any. If it works for you, it works for you,” Lauryn shared.

Alana admitted that she would probably never take Ozempic.

“But if you want to take it, go right ahead. More power to you. More for you, ‘cause I’m not taking it,” the Toddlers & Tiaras alum said.

In April, a source exclusively revealed to In Touch that Elton John ’s close circle is worried that the music legend used Ozempic amid his 40-pound weight loss transformation.

“Naturally there is speculation he turned to weight-loss drugs to achieve such rapid results,” the source revealed, adding, “Elton has an addictive personality — let’s hope he doesn’t go too far again!”
