Incredible views of world’s second-largest swimming pool

About 60 miles west of Santiago, Chile, the San Alfonso del Mar resort stretches along the coastline, with one feature that immediately will catch your eye: the swimming pool.

Noted at the time of its inclusion in the Guinness World Records as the world's largest swimming pool (it's now second), the private resort's lagoon is a massive architectural undertaking, covering some 3,323 feet and containing around 66 million gallons of water.

To put the unreal scale into perspective, an Olympic-sized pool contains approximately 666,000 gallons.
