Vice President Kamala Harris 's brazen lie on X yesterday claiming that former President Donald Trump would support a national abortion ban represents the Biden campaign’s broader strategy of deception.
Harris wrote , “Donald Trump would ban abortion nationwide. President Joe Biden and I will do everything in our power to stop him and restore women’s reproductive freedom.”
This false claim comes just a few days after last Thursday’s presidential debate, during which Trump clearly outlined his policy position regarding abortion. He agrees with the Supreme Court’s decision to allow the abortion pill to stay on the market. He also believes abortion should be left to the states since that represents “the vote of the people.” He outlined his support for the exceptions of rape, incest, and the life of the mother, saying, “I think it’s very important.”
Trump could not have spoken more plainly and made his stance more clear.
Yet, Harris still somehow decided it would be a good idea to suggest that Trump supports a national abortion ban. The statement immediately yielded responses calling her out for doing so, with Elon Musk writing “he clearly said he would not do so in the debate” and multiple readers citing stories that prove the same.
The Biden administration loves clamoring about how often Trump lies without ever admitting its own propensity to bend the truth.
President Joe Biden lied when he told the public that no soldiers died under his watch, that the Border Patrol endorsed him, and that Trump wants to get rid of Social Security.
The Biden administration loves lying so much that it tried to create a department through which it could do so with immunity. The Disinformation Governance Board was announced in the spring of 2022 but was quickly dismantled following the onslaught of backlash. The board was theoretically designed to help target disinformation and misinformation related to homeland security. The Wall Street Journal referred to it as Biden’s “Ministry of Truth.”

The Orwellian nature of the Democratic Party will only come back to hurt it. The public sees through these charades and is starting to understand how deceitful the legacy media and the Biden administration can be. Harris’s assertion that Trump supports a national abortion ban is just the latest lie that exposes how deceitful they truly are.
Sounds like disinformation to me.
