Why Rachel Leviss Dumped Her Recent Romantic Connection

She’s sticking to her boundaries. Former Vanderpump Rules star Rachel Leviss recently ended her romantic fling with single father Matthew Dunn . And she explained why during her podcast.

Since leaving the reality TV world, Rachel notably checked into a voluntary mental health facility for several months. There, she delved into bettering herself and processing the trauma of her affair with Tom Sandoval .

Clearly, Rachel is staying focused on protecting her boundaries while dating.

Rachel is looking for a “safe and reliable” partner

A social media post from Matthew two months ago tipped off media outlets that the duo were an item. But during a recent episode of her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, the VPR alum explained why she ended matters.

“He told me one thing and his actions were different,” Rachel explained. “I asked him not to post on social media because it was too soon in the relationship. We were dating for a month.”

Matthew “updated his Facebook profile picture” featuring himself with the former Bravolebrity at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California.

“The media caught wind of that, and it was just this whole thing,” she explained. “I had to end it. It was hard. It was sad because we had a good connection, good conversation and he was emotionally stable and emotionally intelligent.”

Rachel took the betrayal seriously. She speculated that it was a sign of more concerning issues.

“Obviously those are standard things but those were new things for me to experience,” she continued. “It just seemed like maybe he either had an impulse control issue because we agreed not to do that or he wanted to post to, like, show me off.”

The topic came up in a conversation with Rachel’s guest, a dating coach. The former reality TV star stressed her need for a “safe and reliable” partner.

The concern of a “worst-case scenario” has Rachel erring on the side of caution. And “falling in love with someone who is not a good quality person” is not optimal.
