    PG&E announces planned power shutoffs in Northern California during heat wave

    (FOX40.COM) — Pacific, Gas and Electric Co. has begun to share where Public Safety Power Shutoffs will be conducted during this week’s heat wave, along with community resource centers for those who live in the areas affected.

    PG&E is forecasting that shutoffs are likely to occur on Tuesday and Wednesday for parts of Solano, Lake, Colusa, Glenn, Butte, Tehama and Shasta counties.

    Forecasted Outage Locations by County

    Butte County

    • Jarbo
    • Concow
    • Big Bend

    A community resource center will be located at Concow Elementary School, 11679 Nelson Bar Road. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

    Community members can receive blankets, snacks, water, device charging, restrooms, air conditioning and more.

    Sacramento-area parks and zoos alter operations during heat wave

    Colusa County

    • Stonyford
    • Lodoga
    • Leesville
    • Scattered areas between Maxwell and Lodoga

    A community resource center will be located at Stonyford Community Hall, 229 Market Street.

    Community members can receive blankets, snacks, water, device charging, restrooms, air conditioning and more.

    Glenn County

    The County Road 306 corridor will experience large to smaller-scale scattered outages.

    A community resource center will be located at Elk Creek Junior High School, 3430 Co Rd 309. Community members can receive blankets, snacks, water, device charging, restrooms, air conditioning and more.

    Lake County

    • Areas around Stienhart Lakes
    • Anderson Springs
    • West of Whispering Pines

    No community resource center has been established in Lake County, according to the PG&E outage map.

    Shasta County

    • Palo Cedro to Bella Vista
    • West of Oak Run
    • Shasta
    • Igo
    • Ono
    • West of Anderson

    A community resource center will be located at Happy Valley Community Center, 5400 Hope Valley Road.

    Community members can receive blankets, snacks, water, device charging, restrooms, air conditioning and more.

    Solano County

    • Scattered outages along Pleasant Valley Road between Putah Creek and Vaca Valley Road.

    No community resource center has been established in Lake County, according to the PG&E outage map.

    Tehama County

    • Flournoy
    • West of Gerber and Interstate 5
    • West of Red Bluff
    • West of Cottonwood

    A community resource center will be located at Noland Park 19001 Bowman Road in Cottonwood and a second resource center will be located at Rancho Tehama Association, 17605 Park Terrace Road in Corning.

    Community members can receive blankets, snacks, water, device charging, restrooms, air conditioning and more.
