This Airline Was Named The World's Best For The 8th Time

Qatar Airways has been crowned the world’s best airline for 2024 by Skytrax, the international air transport rating organization. This marks the eighth time the airline has received this prestigious accolade, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in the aviation industry. Skytrax, often called the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” has been running the World Airline Awards for 25 years.

These awards are based on the world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey, which evaluates over 350 airlines from around the globe. The survey, conducted between September 2023 and May 2024, gathered responses from passengers of more than 100 nationalities. Criteria for the awards include the quality of onboard products and services, such as seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, food and beverages, in-flight entertainment, and staff service both on the ground and in the air.

Qatar Airways’ Profile Of Excellence

Qatar Airways, headquartered in Doha, operates a modern fleet of over 230 aircraft, including the Airbus A350, Boeing 777, and Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Known for its commitment to providing top-tier service, the airline flies to more than 160 destinations across six continents. Major routes include flights to and from key hubs such as London, New York, Sydney, and Tokyo. Several other factors contributed to Qatar Airways’ top ranking this year.

The airline was also awarded the titles of World’s Best Business Class, World’s Best Business Class Lounge, and Best Airline in the Middle East. These accolades highlight the airline’s dedication to excellence in its premium and regular service offerings.
