    WWE Ignores Beloved Superstar

    By Shake Baker,

As most of us saw yesterday on social media WWE superstar Dijak, is no longer with the company. In a post on twitter the superstar had written a letter to his fans explaining his situation and why he is no longer with WWE. In the letter he explained how he was never approached by WWE with an offer of any kind, and to top it all off they notified him last minute that they were not going to renew his contract. You can see the full letter below.

It becomes upsetting at some point. WWE misusing, or undervaluing talent. Dijak had been on a tear in NXT since being resigned, after making his debut on the brand back in November of 2022. How could anyone forget the Asylum Match he had with Joe Gacy. To say there was legitimate star potential there would be an understatement.

Even as I sit here writing this I am confused to my core about how WWE handled this whole situation. To not have even offered him a contract is mind blowing to me. Now, I am not going to call anyone out by name but I am sure anyone reading this article can think of a few superstars they would have rather see leave than Dijak. He was one of those guys who would go a little bit further to make an impression on fans as well. He is the king of the "ratio" on twitter and fans have been drawn to his on screen performance because of his presence on social media. I'm not saying being great at firing off tweets is a WWE Superstar make, but this guy seems to have all the tools.

    Shake's Take:

In a way I am happy for Diajk. It seems weird to say after being fired from the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, but I really am excited to see what is next for him. Being fired, or leaving WWE does not mean your professional wrestling career is over. It can in fact be a very good thing for your career. Depending on how you decide to use that WWE leverage.

Having that experience and name on your resume can be huge when diving back into the independent scene. Now there isn't as much security as a full time contract with a big company, but you can certainly make a name, and a few extra bucks if you put the work in. Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, and Matt Cardona are some of the most popular names to be pushed out of WWE only to blaze their own very successful paths outside of the WWE. McIntyre, and Rhodes went on to become World Champions after returning to WWE.

Now I'm not saying it is slam dunk and that Dijak will go on to realize the same success as those guys, but it shows there is hope. He is creative, charismatic, and athletic. It may be a small set back, but this is not the last you will see of Dominick Dijak.
