Adrenaline seekers love amusement parks for the high-flying roller coasters, but a malfunction on one of these massive structures can be terrifying to experience. Disneyland visitors over the weekend went through not one, but two separate malfunction incidents.

Vince Crandon, who witnessed and filmed the incident from his hotel room , recounted what happened to KNBC . The first breakdown happened on June 29 when the Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure stopped mid-ride. It failed again the following day, leaving riders stranded and workers rushing to their aid.

"I thought maybe the ride was closed," Crandon said. While the riders were stuck in their seats, park employees in harnesses came with umbrellas to shield them from the summer heat.

"They were in this hot sun for a good 20 to 30 minutes that I saw, and I was really concerned for the heat and obviously for the people," he noted.

"It was not moving. It was the top of the apex," he added. "But you have to hand it to Disney ; they did respond quickly and brought out umbrellas."

The Incredicoaster, inspired by Pixar's The Incredibles , is one of the many roller coasters at Disney California Adventure, which sits adjacent to the original Disneyland theme park. The attraction was temporarily closed after the malfunction on June 30, but it's since reopened.
