The 2024 Paris Olympics are right around the corner. But there are still four open spots up for grabs in the men's basketball field.

There will be four Olympic qualifying tournaments tipping off this week, set to take place in Greece, Latvia, Puerto Rico and Spain. NBA superstars including Luka Doncic (Slovenia) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece) will have to battle it out in those tournaments, as will typical powerhouses including Spain and Lithuania.

Which countries have qualified for men's basketball 2024 Paris Olympics?

Eight countries already secured their bids for the 2024 Paris Olympics, with four spots up for grabs:

• United States
• Canada
• Australia
• South Sudan
• Japan
• Serbia
• Germany
• Greece qualifier
• Latvia qualifier
• Puerto Rico qualifier
• Spain qualifier

Qualifications for men's basketball 2024 Paris Olympics, explained

There are four FIBA men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (OQTs), which are being held in Greece, Latvia, Puerto Rico and Spain, from July 2-7.

Each OQT features six teams broken up into two groups of three. The top two teams from each group will advance to a single-elimination knockout stage. The winner of each OQT will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, according to the Olympics' official website .
