The reigning champion confessed that she was given the opportunity to appear on a soap opera. She told host Ken Jennings : "A number of years ago, I was in India for the summer and was walking down the street in Mumbai and somebody pulled us aside and said, 'Hey, do you want to be on a soap opera?.' And there's a heavy expat Indian community in Toronto and, so, the story was taking place in Toronto, so they needed white people to make it look like it was Canada and, so, we were sitting at the next table in a restaurant."

Ken jokingly asked if she gets recognize to which Cat sarcastically quipped, "All the time." Ken added: "I love that Toronto pretends to be New York and then Mumbia pretends to be Toronto. Who's pretending to be Mumbai?"

The Final Jeopardy! category for Monday was German Books. Ken delivered the hint: "First published in 1812, this anthology included The Water Nymph & The Booted Tom Cat." He was looking for the answer, "What is Grimms’ Fairy Tales?" Sadly, Cat wasn't able to start a decent streak.

She entered Final Jeopardy! with $12,300, but fumbled the lead when she bet $8,901. She ended up not knowing the answer and using the ability to give a shoutout to her husband back at home. Matt Brooks, however, answered correctly, but didn't bet anything at all. The move allowed him to pass Cat as her score fell. In the end, Matt was victorious and, while Zoe Strassfield correctly, upping her $1,600 to $3,100 after betting $1,500, she finished in last.

While she might not be moving on, Cat was able to disrupt Drew Basile's impressive seven day win streak on Friday. Her winnings awarded her $11,500 after Drew appeared to choke under the pressure, unable to successful guess Hellen Keller in a hint that fans were calling "easy."

He later explained to the Jeopardy! podcast that he was suffering from some pretty rough fatigue, a sentiment that champion Andrea Haymaker also vocalized. According to them, the production schedule is pretty grueling, something fans don't see from behind-the-scenes.
