UPDATE (9:22 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2): Route 10 has reopened, according to the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.

CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — Route 10 has been closed after a semi-truck lost its load and got stuck Monday evening.

According to Cabell County 911, the incident was reported in the 4900 block of Route 10 around 8:30 p.m. The truck reportedly lost a 100-foot, 16-ton steel beam.

The road has been closed while crews work on removing the truck and the beam, though dispatch said it is unclear how long it will be before the road reopens.

No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
