TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman was charged with DUI after a car crashed into a Hernando County home on Sunday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Ann Marie Estevez, 29, was allegedly driving east on Spring Hill Drive at about 10 p.m. when she lost control of her car and crashed into the home, troopers said. The woman reportedly claimed that another car pulled in front of her.

Estevez refused field tests and a breath test and admitted to drinking earlier in the evening, troopers said.

There were two people in the home at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported, but the crash caused at least $10,000 of damage, FHP said.
