Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has three years left on his current contract, but it doesn't sound like he's planning to go much longer without a new deal.

Amid a recent wave of high-dollar contracts going to some of the NFL's top wide receivers, Hill spoke about that on Monday while admitting he's also seeking a new contract. While discussing the topic with Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston , Hill showed love to Dolphins teammate Jaylen Waddle before referencing his deal.

“I’m very excited just to be a part of the old wave, which was $30 million, and Justin Jefferson came in and surpassed that, man. So, very proud of those guys, happy for obviously my teammate Waddle getting his new deal," Hill said. "So, for guys like me, that’s great. I’m 30 years old, also looking for a new deal. So, very, very excited to see where I fit in that category. It’s amazing.”

It's obviously a noteworthy comment from Hill, who's set to make just over $19.6 million this season. That number jumps to $21.835 million in 2025, but then peaks in 2026, the final year of the deal, with a base salary of $43.9 million.

The Dolphins would likely look to get a new deal done with Hill before the final year of his current contract, but the eight-time Pro Bowler sounds like he could be set to push for one before that point.
