In a conversation with Virgin Radio, the duo was asked whether a fifth season is in store for the audience. Smith responded by addressing season 4’s cliffhanger and expressed her interest in the next season. She said, “I have to say. It’s [the end of season 4] a bit of a cliffhanger. So I wonder. It would be lovely to do a series five.”

Additionally, Spall expressed his love for the show too. He said, “I hope so. It’d be good. I’d be happy to do this show. I love it for many reasons. I think it’s good, funny.” Considering that per season dropped each following year, a Season 5, if it happens, will probably come out next year. Nevertheless, there is no official confirmation for now.
