The Kia Stinger was discontinued in 2023, at which time Kia also announced it would prioritize EVs instead. In the pecking order of Kia’s SUV lineup, the Seltos aims to bring buyers into the fold with smart packaging, all-wheel drive capability and an attractive price tag. Since it’s just coming off a facelift for the 2024 model year, things aren’t changing too much for 2025. One conspicuous part of the automaker’s announcement, though, is the statement of “improved materials and finishes” for the interior that “elevate the driving experience”. In other words, folks have complained over the past few years that all the hard plastics make the Seltos feel a little too downmarket, and Kia says it’s now done something about that.
