Austria vs. Turkey prediction, odds, betting tips and best bets for Euro 2024 Round of 16 clash

Austria head to Leipzig where they will face fellow surprise package Turkey for a place in the quarterfinals at Euro 2024.
Ralf Rangnick's men have taken this tournament by storm, as they topped a tough Group D that also consisted of France, Netherlands and Poland.
Since their narrow 1-0 defeat to France, Austria comfortably beat Poland 3-1 and put in a monumental shift to overcome the Netherlands 3-2 on the final matchday.
Turkey have also looked good and picked up six points in their group with wins against Czechia and Georgia. They've been aggressive and looked dangerous, especially through Real Madrid's Arda Guler.
The 19-year-old hit a rocket past Georgia to grab the headlines, and will be hoping for more of the same in his first major tournament knockout clash.
Austria vs. Turkey prediction, odds
Moneyline lean: Austria (-105)
Score prediction: Austria 2-1 Turkey
Turkey have shown incredible fight to get this far but Rangnick's tactical ability has been on full show at this tournament, and he'll no doubt get Austria in shape to advance to the quarterfinals. Austria matches so far have averaged a little over three goals per game and they have conceded in all three group-stage games. Turkey, meanwhile, have scored five times so far, so this one could be anything but dull. When these two sides met just over three months ago in an international friendly Austria won 6-1!
Given how many goals have been scored in Austria and Turkey games at this tournament (10 each in the group stages), it's almost a guarantee both teams score in this clash.
If you're somehow unconvinced by Rangnick and Austria, there's valuable to had in having either team to win.
Coming fresh off a man-of-the-match performance vs. the Netherlands and playing in a more attacking role in Rangnick's setup, Sabitzer to find the back of the net again is worth a shot. He came up clutch in the 80th minute to score the winning goal against the Dutch and he's been known to be a goalscorer at club level too for Borussia Dortmund.
So far at this tournament, matches that Austria have been involved in are averaging over seven corners and Turkey are averaging 10. With it being a knockout game and both teams dangerous on the attack, hitting the over on corners could be the move.
