Amazon isn't the only retailer getting in on the summer sale craze, though. In fact, not to be outdone, Walmart just announced its biggest deal event ever, simply called "Walmart Deals" happening a week before Prime Day on July 8-11.

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil. Remove and discard any damaged outer leaves from cabbage. Slice the cabbage vertically into 4 (3/4-inch) steaks. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with oil; transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle both sides evenly with 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder and pepper.
