15-year-old girl shot in north St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Someone shot a teenager overnight in north St. Louis County early Tuesday morning.

Officers from the North County Precinct responded to a Shotspotter activation and received a call a little after 12:45 a.m. for shots fired in the 1300 block of Cabrillo in Spanish Lake, not far from Parker and Bellefontaine roads.

Upon arrival, St. Louis County police said that they found a 15-year-old girl who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. the teen was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries and her current condition are both unclear at this point.

The crimes against persons detectives were called out for this case and were at the scene.

There is also no word of any suspects so far in this case.
