‘High Level SPANKING!’ Trump Celebrates Supreme Court Immunity Ruling By Attacking ‘Deranged’ Jack Smith

Former President Donald Trump celebrated Monday’s Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity by attacking Special Counsel Jack Smith.

In a 6-3 decision, the nation’s highest court effectively decided that any official act of a sitting president was immune from criminal investigation. In contrast, private acts, perceived to be outside of legal statutes, would leave any sitting president vulnerable to the justice system.

Of course, what constitutes “official” vs. “private” is in the eye of the beholder, or, in this case, lower courts that will almost certainly gum up any check or balance on an Executive Branch that now seems to have more power than ever, some might argue, more than the original framers ever intended.

Nonetheless, Trump lauded the decision partly because, like most elected officials, he often spins news in a manner favorable to him. But largely, the Supreme Court decision almost certainly kills the Department of Justice investigations into Trump’s alleged taking and hiding of classified documents as well as his alleged coordination of fake electors and his role regarding events of January 6th.

So it’s in this context that Trump returned to his “insult comic” persona to spike the football in the Special Counsel’s face, metaphorically. Trump posted on Truth Social:

A really bad day for Deranged Jack Smith, the wacko prosecutor used for Crooked Joe Biden’s attack on his Political Opponent. Today, as in the past, the Supreme Court gave the Deranged One a high level SPANKING! His “real” bosses, Andrew Weissmann and Lisa Monaco, not to mention Merrick Garland, whose once great reputation has been shattered by these Thugs, and his constant defense of Crooked Joe, must be furious at him. Garland ought to call an end to this never ending HOAX, and let people focus on bringing back Greatness to America!

The odds that Attorney General Merrick Garland will end any investigation into Trump — particularly given the ample evidence in support of the federal investigations — are extremely low and simple wishcasting from the former president — a clear signal to his loud chorus of media surrogates who will see this as a talking point marching order, which means we will likely see this regularly repeated on pro-Trump conservative media.
