Despite that, Winks has made a miraculous and full recovery. He certainly does not let his handicap slow him down at his new foster home. Winks was truly given a second chance at life, and now all he needs is a family to call his own.

CALIFORNIA – Starting July 1, landlords will only be allowed to collect one month’s rent for the security deposit on a rental property. Assembly Bill 12, signed into law last October, says regardless of whether the residential property is unfurnished or furnished, only one month’s rent can be charged in addition to any rent for the first month paid on or before initial occupancy.

I had left my cot to use the restroom, and when I came back there was a man in my bed claiming it was his bed. The shelter manager sided with him and ejected me.
