    Regional: List Of Cooling Centers Open To Public In Bay Area

    Cities and counties in the Bay Area will be opening their cooling centers to the public starting Tuesday to help residents avoid the sweltering heat poised to prevail over the region through the weekend.

    The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning for 11 a.m. Tuesday through 8 p.m. Sunday for the Marin Coastal Range, Sonoma Coastal Range, North Bay Interior Mountains, North Bay Interior Valleys, East Bay Interior Valleys, Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Clara Valley, Eastern Santa Clara Hills, East Bay Hills, Southern Salinas Valley, and Interior Monterey.

    The following are the available cooling centers to the public:

    American Canyon -- American Canyon Library at 300 Crawford Way (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Saturday; and from noon to 8 p.m. on Wednesday)

    Calistoga -- Calistoga Community Center at 1307 Washington Street (from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday)

    Concord -- Concord Senior Center at 2727 Parkside Circle (from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Saturday)

    Greenfield -- City Hall at 599 El Camino Real (from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday to Friday)

    Greenfield Community Science Workshop at 45 El Camino Real (from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday to Saturday)

    Healdsburg -- Healdsburg Senior Center at at 133 Matheson Street (from 11 a.m to 7 p.m., Tuesday to Wednesday)

    Napa -- Napa Library at 580 Coombs Street (9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday)

    Petaluma -- COTS Mary Isaak Center at 900 Hopper Street in Petaluma (from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday)

    Richmond -- The County Employment and Health Services Department building at 1305 MacDonald Avenue (from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).

    The Nevin Park Resilience Hub at 589 Nevin Avenue (from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday)

    Rohnert Park -- Rohnert Park Community Center at 5401 Snyder Lane ( 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Wednesday and Friday to Sunday)

    San Jose -- Camden Community Center at 3369 Union Avenue (1 p.m. to 9 p.m., from Tuesday until Saturday)

    Emma Prusch Farm Park at 647 South King Road (1 p.m. to 9 p.m., from Tuesday until Saturday)

    Roosevelt Community Center at 901 East Santa Clara Street (1 p.m. to 9 p.m., from Tuesday until Saturday)

    City of Santa Clara -- Senior Center at 1303 Fremont Street (from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday; and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday)

    Community Recreation Center at 969 Kiely Boulevard (from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday)

    Central Park Library at 2635 Homestead Road (from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday)

    Mission Branch Library at 1098 Lexington Street (11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday)

    Northside Branch Library at 695 Moreland Way (10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday)

    Monterey County -- Carmel Valley Library at 65 West Carmel Valley Road (from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday; from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday; and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday to Saturday)

    King City Library at 402 Broadway Street ((from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday to Saturday)

    San Ardo Library at 62350 College Street (1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday; 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday)

    San Lucas Library at 54692 Teresa Street (from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday)

    Napa County -- Yountville Library at 6516 Washington Street in Yountville (from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday to Saturday except Thursday)

    Santa Rosa -- Finley Community Center located at 2060 West College Ave (from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Wednesday)

    Steele Lane Community Center at 415 Steele Lane (from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday except Thursday)

    Person Senior Wing at 2060 West College Avenue (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday except Thursday)

    Spray Ground at Prince Gateway Park at 171 Santa Rosa Ave. (from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily)

    Soledad -- Soledad Community Center at 560 Walker Drive ( from 6 a.m to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday)

    St. Helena -- St. Helena Public Library at 1492 Library Lane (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until July 12)

    Stockton -- Arnold Rue Community Center at 5758 Lorraine Avenue (through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday to Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.)

    Stribley Community Center at 1760 East Sonora Street (through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Thursday to Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.)

    Van Buskirk Community Center at 734 Houston Avenue (through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

    Seifert Community Center at 128 West Benjamin Holt Drive (through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

    Windsor -- Senior Recreation Center Cooling Safe Haven at 9231 Foxwood Drive (from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Wednesday)

    Vacaville -- Ulatis Community Center at 1000 Ulatis Drive (from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday; from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday)
