Jamie Dornan Gave An Update On His Friendship With Dakota Johnson After All Those “Fifty Shades” Feud Rumors

The Fifty Shades movie franchise might be over, but Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson ’s friendship seemingly isn’t.

As I’m sure you’ll know, Jamie and Dakota famously starred as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades film series based on the books by E. L. James.

In the past, Dakota has talked candidly about “ disagreements ” that took place on set. And though she never said anything negative about her costar, there was a lot of speculation that she and Jamie secretly didn’t get on while filming was underway.

In 2022, Dakota directly refuted this narrative, telling Vanity Fair : “There was never a time when we didn’t get along.”

And now, more than six years since the last Fifty Shades movie came out, it sounds like Jamie and Dakota are still as friendly as ever.

On the red carpet at the Into Film Awards last week, Jamie was asked if he and his former costar still kept in touch, prompting him to reveal that they had recently been texting each other.

“I was just texting with her a couple days ago,” he told Metro . “I think she’s London bound a wee bit over the next few weeks, so trying to see her and Chris for dinner.”

Sounds like a Fifty Shades costar reunion could be in the cards!
